Yes but it is more money for oversees shipping...try to find a local seller and bust his balls for a discount.

miatamoxie 07-30-2008 12:27 AM

I'd venture to say that it's nearly impossible to get one shipped to the next state over (I'm in Oregon) at this rate, let alone another country, let alone another continent.

Called today. Told me another 6 weeks.

Just canceled my order I placed On MAY fifth. Guy said shipment was expected at end of August or first week of September. Told him I couldn't wait that much longer.

godspeedproject 08-05-2008 04:27 PM

hi

this is chung from godspeedproject.com

first just want thank everyone here in the miata for all the support. right now we have having minor problem with our manufacturer in producing the radiator on time ( theres a shortage on aluminum right now ) but we will have 50 of them coming around late september. it might be earlier but we are not sure yet.

sorry for the long waiting period.

again thank you and if u have any question please call us at 16264423988 ask for chung.

zarish 08-05-2008 05:27 PM

It seems every month they add another month. I am not sure these radiators will ever come on. When they do eventually come it will be winter again and then I really won't need a radiator. Im surprised that the vendor does not know when he will get his product...

Zabac 08-05-2008 05:47 PM

Zarish, to their defense, if China sticks it to them, there is nothing they can do...from speaking to them I was told that they were told they would get 50 at a time, Chinaman send only 5 and says "no moar Alunmnmmnm" ...what can they do?
Maybe a discount to everyone who is willing to wait? I don't know, but I do know that they want our business...

First off, this post is not in anyway made against Godspeed or in any way to make them look bad.

The Chinamen have destroyed many countries economies by flooding the world with their cheaply made products. They supply their products all over the world including the US. This is how they have made it in the world and still growing. The Chinamen don't run out of Aluminum or for that matter anything else when they have money to spend. Even if they did and its true that the one particular shop that Godspeed gets radiators from has run out of Aluminum then maybe Godspeed needs to stick it to them instead since this is hurting their reputation and customer base. By the way why would Chinamen ship only 5 radiators at a time when they have ship loads of goods arriving at our ports with all kinds of stuff? I am now sure how you guys came up with the theory. I am from Asia, as a matter of fact neighbors with china and do know people who do business with Chinamen all the time. They don't ship 5 things at a time.

kenzo42 08-05-2008 10:04 PM

They told me they received 30 radiators previously, not 5.

scottv 08-05-2008 11:58 PM

Man, I just can't wait anymore...I'm just wondering how all these other radiator companies are getting aluminum to make their radiators because I'm willing to bet they're all made in China...I'm cancelling my Godspeed and getting in on the Mishimoto group buy.

I know...not saying it was...read the very last sentence in my post and consider the rest an intro statement, I am just trying to be a mediator and help eveyone out.
I know I would be happy to wait again if for example the raditors were $120-$130shipped...I am sure it can be done and it would still keep Godspeed busy with our orders once they get more of them in...

5 radiators, and 30 refugees.

zarish 08-09-2008 12:49 PM

For all the guys that have cancelled their orders recently. How long did it take to get your refunds? I canceled my order Tuesday and the guy said it will post within 2 hours, but I am yet to see a refund. I called him 2 days later and he said he did the refund already. Not sure what’s going on.

got mine next day, paypal

93inNM 08-11-2008 10:34 AM

I cancelled my order just a few minutes ago. Just too long a wait with too much uncertainty regarding delivery. Time to move on and get a radiator elsewhere.

zarish 08-11-2008 10:12 PM

I cancelled last week on Tuesday I think and still have not received the credit. I called the guy twice to check and he says the credit was done but I am looking at my bank statements live online and have yet to receive my credit. I am not sure whats going on. When I ordered they were pretty quick to charge me and the account was charged within minutes yet its taken over a week for the credit and still nothing. I am gona call them again and if I don't receive my credit right away I will file a claim.

scottv 08-12-2008 10:48 AM

I cancelled my order middle of last week or so...just showed up on my online statement yesterday-so they did make the refund. Thanks!

curly 08-12-2008 07:14 PM

just cancelled seconds ago, he said 24-48 hours before it'll be in my account. so in 24-48 hours I'll be sending my payment for the other group buy radiator.

zarish 08-13-2008 12:38 PM

Ok so finally just received credit for the order I cancelled last week. I was told 2 hours.

kenzo42 08-23-2008 06:51 AM

Called on Thurs. They said it'll be 1 more month. Riiight.

TonyV 08-23-2008 05:51 PM

Damn, I hate to say it but I am so happy right now. Bought mine from Urbansoot, and its in the car already. Thats including a 4week delay on me being outta town...
Heard there's another option now, Mishimoto or something?? How come you guys aren't all over that one?

Tremiata 09-08-2008 02:05 PM

Just called...CG no longer works there (at least what I was told) and still sounds like 3 weeks to get shipment from manufacturer and then will be sending out asap.

End of September or 1st week in October from what I was just told.

TonyV 09-08-2008 02:10 PM

Hang in there guys, its a very good upgrade...
I'm happy to say my rad is installed, and overheating is gone.
Take my advice, try and use the stock fans with your new rads...

levnubhin 09-08-2008 02:13 PM

Im surprised you guys have'nt called for refund's and gotten on the other group buy.

These guys are so full of shit. He guaranteed me September. What a bunch of lying assholes.

I know there are things they can't control, but don't give me a guarantee.

paul 09-29-2008 02:58 PM

Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will. I got spare time.

kenzo42 09-29-2008 04:09 PM

Of course, I can get a hell of a good look at a T-Bone steak by sticking my head up a bull's ass, but I'd rather take the butcher's word for it

Zabac 09-29-2008 04:59 PM

I remember the good days when I got my radiator 4 days after I ordered it...should not have sold it, looks like ill be waiting with you guys, well those of who are still waiting.

its worth the wait if it is really only 2-3 weeks
I guess we'll find out

miatamoxie 10-25-2008 12:34 PM

FedEx just stopped by with a package from "Fatboy Motorsports". Opened it up, and it was a Godspeed radiator. Looking at it closely, it doesn't look like it is the 91-97 model. It doesn't have side mounts with bolt holes that face to the front, it has bolt holes that go in from the side.

Do any of you have a picture of the mounts of either the proper godspeed 91-97 model or any NB model radiator to compare?

I think you need the brackets from an OEM radiator. IIRC they bolt into the sides of the radiator and have the mounts built in.

Do you have pictures or can you compare them to the link I sent? I will be picking mine up today and need to know before 5pm, if they are the same radiators as before! Thanks.

miatamoxie 10-25-2008 06:09 PM

OK, that makes sense. I forgot that the ends on the stock radiator were removable. I have a feeling it won't fit with my intercooler hot side pipe where it is, so I'm not going to work on it for now. Thanks for the help though rob and kenzo.

kenzo42 10-25-2008 09:12 PM

Picked my GS up right now from Chung. Nice guy.

Said they got 60 in. Go and get them MT!

rippledabs 10-27-2008 02:21 PM

It's my understanding that the group buy pricing is more or less permanent. I haven't heard otherwise. Call them up and mention mt.net and they should honor it.

Just called and ordered one myself....160 shipped (plus taxes for Ca.) Should have the radiator delivered sometime soon (they have plenty in stock).

evank 03-07-2009 10:38 PM

Is there any update re: whether this fits an NB?

Congrats! you just bought a CxRacing radiator! I had one and I realized that the godspeed and all the other cheaper rads are the same thing

redhardtop95 03-09-2009 04:05 PM

GodSpeed = CxRacing

Could be, my only comment is from what I have read everyone with AC has had to push there condenser farther forward due to contact issues with the CX Racing product. This one has about 1/4" between the cross brace and top of the radiator and my condenser...the other thing it has the top piece of alluminum (top manifold or whatever) is stamped with a "GodSpeed" logo (I dont think the older ones had this)....but I wouldnt be suprised if it was built in the same factory in China with just a stamped top....

Does the CX Racing have little louvers cut into the allumninum strips that are tucked between the fluid transfer fins....I thought this was alittle odd as the high dollar Koyos dont have the louvers...

Miatamaniac92 04-27-2009 06:20 PM

Just talked to "Sam" from GC (or whatever the company from the initial post is). He needs two people to order on the same day to make it happen at the ~$160 price (can ship/charge separately).

If you want one, shoot me a PM and we'll talk on the phone. I'm gonna call him again in the morning one way or another.

Chris

Justaturbo95 04-28-2009 02:48 PM

Interesting, I ordered and received one last week for the $160 price.

Miatamaniac92 04-28-2009 02:51 PM

I ordered it today, got the $170 price (shipped). Had a guy PM me and if he orders they'll credit me back $10.

Chris

samnavy 04-28-2009 03:46 PM

Did we finally decide that these were a decent unit, that they fit properly to OEM mounts, and that they weren't cracked upon delivery?

Justaturbo95 04-29-2009 12:12 PM

I hope so and ordered believing that...
Anyway, mine was received quickly, well packaged and appears in good order. Have not installed so cannot speak to fitment or cracking.

Eraser-X 04-29-2009 12:16 PM

I have installed 2 of them and they are a little tight but doable. I have not had any issues with mine at all. You guys will be happy with them.

Miatamaniac92 04-29-2009 01:28 PM

I'll know this weekend (if it gets here in time). Also ordered a pair of 12 inch fans from siliconintakes.com

Chris

Miatamaniac92 05-02-2009 06:05 PM

Fans and radiator showed up. Install now in progress.

Chris
