As promised. Blanket pictures. Install trix on tiny greddy
As shown before, the pictures really dont do much justice for how SOLID these blankets are. Nearly 4 inches wide... Circle about 8-9 inches tall, and have nearly 1 inch fiberglass inside.
They really swallow my turbo, But I LIKE those that swallow. Cant really tell now how big my turbine side is.
I did have a to do a little modification to not worry about my wg rod and spring. Split the side, and sew up with mechanics wire.
I really only so far wired down the front side,. it sits snugly and isnt going to move much anywhere.
Quick test drive, NO major changes. Ill watch that my WG isn't getting hung inside the blanket. Does keep EVERYTHING shielded a lot better from that heat. The Downpipe is now the major heat radiator.
15 min run. hard pulls. back to the house, could still put hand on blanket.
Dont have EGT to look at temp changes inside manifold etc.. hope others can shed some light there on the good or bad.
Slightly concerned over long term if the outer shell dries out and will it get brittle, we shall see.
Enjoy... hit ZABAC up see if he has others.
Sorry for the enormous pictures, need to figure out how to make them smaller and more manageable.

The only fitment issues I am worried about,is the people with the FM or Bell turbo kits.
The turbo exhaust housing sits pretty close to the frame and I'm worried the thick turbo blanket may rub up against it and also the brake line.
I guess I will have to wait and see when more people get their blankets.

Update!
I'll update list for batch two once batch one is done, do not panic if your name is not on there yet, I don't want to disrupt the ModGods for their editorial skillz/powahs more than I have to.
I will update the list in detail and if your name doesn't show up and you dont get a PM from me, then you need to worry.
Thanks for reading the thread before PM'ing me already answered questions (ahhem).
