ouch. Im not saying copy Absurdflow, but this is typically the kind of thing us nerds like to see:
http://absurdflow.com/products.html
Do a bit of research on your target demographic: Nerds with gay cars. Read up some threads, check out your competitors, then give us some hard numbers and boner-inducing pictures of finished or almost finished pieces FOR OUR APPLICATION. We know you can weld, I suppose thats a good start.

What is it would like pictures of.
Also, thanks for the advise and input, this is just a thought that we had, and thought we would share. Our goal, like stated before is to offer a product without stepping on toes. We are not saying our is better than anyone else's. We were gauging interest in the product is all.
So maybe a DIY weld it yourself kit?

Basically what Timmah said:
Everyone is happy to see you guys jump into the market, but it doesn't look like you've done your homework (unless this is you doing your homework and getting a "feel" of the market)
An actual product. Finished, fitted, and tested.
That would be GREAT.
Like the jgs or whatever its called, except not an ugly and terribly flowing log, but something like the ETD shorty. And for the 1.8 this time, since 1.6's are going the way of the dinasour. Same size, same amount of materials, but better design than a log.
I'd post pics of what I mean but they're blocked at work. Perhaps someone will help out with that.

Voodoo engineering barble doesn't work at MT.net. Smartest thing so far is:
"yes".
Build it and price it, see if it sells. That's really all you can do, unless you answer all these questions and moar then hope for groupbuy participants.
Freedump bump.
Your port work stuffs look very nice. I imagine you will do a good job at the manifold...but pretty insides won't sell by itself. And you may be competing against builders who make killer quality fab'ed manifolds for ridiculously inexpensive prices. For this reason I cannot compete in the budget $700 manifold/downpipe market.

Renown guys,
We have a few awesome vendors here who do "no questions asked" warranties on hot parts, they control the market. Many of us are very, very hard on our cars and after 100-hours of seat time my AF setup is still not cracked. We have a couple fabricators we like and one on the way that are/will be fitted to very fast celebrity Miatas which are driven in extreme anger, the type of anger that stems from a life of owning gay cars, so they are tested and trusted. I recommend that if you want some of this action you build a manifold and DP, then get it on a very fast Miata for a few days at the track and see what didn't break.
Thanks,

Lets also not forget how many times I asked you on the phone "what are you going to do if it breaks"? This was the reason I came to you in the first place.

Here are some pictures of the Mitsubishi Evo DIY ramhorn bundle we sell.
You will notice one off looking section. We did that to show you how large of a difference it makes when we polish the material for the kit. All sch.10 pipe in the kit come polished like shown. This will aid in giving the material a cleaner and deeper penetration when welded, Also after its been heated it will gave that nice golden finish.
Our kits also only use 3D style flanges that taper out to the diameter of the piping used. This has been proven to show large improvements where it counts. Keeping a better balanced flow while exiting the head.
(note:the flange used in this picture is used for mock up only, please discard the dirtiness)
The Miata 1.8 kits are in the works right now for log manifolds, and will be priced for less than $200! We will also be offering pre cut pipe, that just needs welding. More info on that soon to come.
When we decide to make manifolds for the Miata you can expect us to use the high end quality parts.

Damn, less than $200? Makes me wish I still had welding connections from when I was a machinist.
What's the plan for downpipes? And is this going to be a log style side mount? I hate top mounts. Guess it could go either way if we're welding it ourselves...
