Default Thoughts or Comments From Haltech Elite 1500 Users?

I am interested in candid thoughts or comments from Haltech Elite 1500 users about their RECENT experiences and tunes. Also, if any of you have any semblance or vestige of OBDII code handling/reporting? Grazie!

I do like mine.

I have an obdII dongle connected to it to monitor stuff using torque. You cannot use one to emulate readiness codes for emissions by obd plugin.

I also would not waste the money on the PNP unit. I would make my own BOB, probably using a rusefi unit (available on eBay) but the value is not present for the haltech BOB unit.

Loved mine before moving up to a Nexus R5. Only real complaint I ever had with the Elite was that the internal datalogger memory size is ridiculously small. Basically only good for a drag pass, not multiple sessions on track. Not a huge deal though since most channels can be sent and logged by AiM.

The huge memory increase on the Nexus means I can log tons of engine channels for every session on track. I had a really bad misfire one time that would only show up on track, not while parked. Figured out which cylinder it was by watching the current pulses on the ignition power output.

There's a whole list of reasons, lol. Someone volunteered to make a patch harness for me and I am still waiting on that, I am still not fully committed to putting the rotrex on my car which is also in the box, might need money for some personal life things, etc.

Really does look great in the box though.
