How to Change to EBC frequency? hydra 2.7
#2
Found the answer. The option is under the advanced tab which is greyed out. Once unlock this will offer access to the hz without just running the EBC in open loop mode. I believe this is a key factor in using the hydra ems 2.7 boost controller. Im finding that at 48 hz the sensitivity is causing issues. and I have not read anywhere of anyone changing it.

Hydra isn't keen on unlocking the advanced tab for (most) customers, but if you send me your map I can change it to whatever you want & send it back to you. If you want to unlock the tab capability, it's an unlock fee + my endorsement on this one.
I've had limited success with the IR solenoid at 16hz.

Bump!
I read your post over on M-S and wanted to link it here. I'm going to use your walk-through and get my EBC configured. Thanks for putting in all the time!

Canyonfive: How is the EBC handling the cold/hot transitions? Are you seeing huge pressure variances? When I first started using my EBC back when I had 2.6, it would have a large increase in pressure when it gets cold out (60 or below). I'm going to try setting this up because my MBC is acting up (huge overshoot and boost moves from 12psi (WG pressure) to 16 (MBA set pressure)) and I've had this I-R EBC for 3 years and figure it's about time I started to use it. Don't see the need to spend another 90 bucks on a replacement MBC.
