You'll need your laptop to diagnose but check your TPS readings. With the car off, make sure your TPS reading is '0' at closed and '100' at full open, cycle the pedal a few times to make sure. Then turn the car on, if the TPS window registers '1' or higher at idle (assuming the car is idling at 3500RPM), there's your problem.

If it's doing this, adjust the Throttle Closed numerical value up in the Hydra settings (until the TPS closed reading is '0') and the car should operate correctly.

From the Hydra manual:

The idea here is to increase the value in the Closed Throttle Cal box one point at a time until you get a value of 0 for the TPS reading in the main window, and then go one more point. The reason for going one more is that the first time you see a 0 it may actually be a decimal (like 0.5) and that will keep you in open loop idle control. Going one point further makes sure it is actually zero, and this is required to go into closed loop idle.

You need a computer with the Hydra software loaded onto it that you will hook up to the Hydra. If you have your manual, it will walk you through all this.

If by mode screen you mean the main screen you see after you upload your current map from the ECU, then yes, that is where you see the TPS window (which is at the bottom left).

This is an old screenshot of the main screen, but you get the idea:

Good. I think pages 9 and 10 cover adjusting the Throttle Position Sensor and calibration.
