Default 1/4 mile launch technique?

I was wondering if anyone could gimmie a pointer or two about launch technique for my set-up on the 1/4 mile.

My bipes pulls 6 degrees from 3-4krpm so should I launch at a little over 4?

Where and how have you all had the best luck?

I ride the hell out of my clutch to get a nice smoothe launch. This way there is not too much wheel spin, no turbo bog ( if done correctly ), no reving it up to 4k or so and dumping the clutch and letting your tranny deal with it.

I am no expert but I have managed 1.8 sec 60ft times

My 2cents I guess.

do you meen you have it redlined and let your clutch out slow when you launch???

If so that seems like it works good but after 1 or 2 runs like that my clutch just spins cuz its a stock 1.6. I guess thats my next upgrade.

Any other techniques?
