why have backseats at all if this cage makes it impossible for anyone to sit there? Unless of course, they're for some reason unable to be removed.

Note to potential buyer of this: My volvo can burn out just as good as that. I just saved someone 15 grand.

Professionally built also != gauge pod attached to A pillar with screws left over from some carpentry.

lol its also advertised as a manual transmission, its an automatic...
"In this case, the paint's color "Quicksilver" really DOES tell you something more about the car." |
I like the preheated intercooler piping.
Also, rear mount fail. And wtf with no wastegate exit pipe? Somebody failed Fluid Dynamics. |
It's not THAT bad.

so sad...

Of all the things wrong, I don't see a problem with that. The point of WG dumps is to point the friggin hot exhaust away from parts that can't take the heat. This one is dumping behind the car, just like the exhaust.

http://www.kcclassiccars.com/images/04GTO/chassisA.jpg I like how they wrap the hoses furthest from the turbo, but nothing else. I've had cars with worm gear clamps on beaded pipes, they fail. http://www.kcclassiccars.com/images/04GTO/int15.jpg Why did they leave the back-seat in, and why is the cage unpainted? http://www.kcclassiccars.com/images/04GTO/int18.jpg LOL @ load-path (seriously, that's a brain basher) http://www.kcclassiccars.com/images/04GTO/chassis16.jpg LOL @ QA1 shocks with bent hardware. http://www.kcclassiccars.com/images/04GTO/chassis7.jpg LOL @ airflow to the intercooler. http://www.kcclassiccars.com/images/04GTO/chassis3.jpg LOL @ thermocouple 3' downstream http://www.kcclassiccars.com/images/04GTO/int6.jpg LOL @ Autozone gauges Instead of clicking each and every link... |

I think his point was that it would actually flow better with some amount of a tube on it. Hence the fluid dynamics comment.
I'd worry about fluttering pressure behind that wastegate that may or may not allow 5.7L to overspin the turbos. EWGs are win, but I'd feel a whole lot better with some pipe behind it to keep constant backpressure behind the plunger. |

Sure, but this is being advertised as some sort of spared-no-expense professionally tuned car, and that's clearly not the case.
I don't think anyone would argue that this is as bad as it gets. |
