i'm wondering this too as i've seen it before on exteremely high hp cars. Is it leaking at the gasket? is it superheating the air? what's the deal?

Rotarys have huge EGTs.

My RX8 headers would be red as a fire ant after a hard run.

Hard to beat that sound. At first I thought the 1664 was from a 3 rotor and I was going to ****, but remembered the 4 rotor video. One day I will have a BP 3 rotor in an FD, just wait.

i might be working for speed source inc. soon.
they have Mazda factory support. They also won the 24 at daytona last year...
