Yeah. You're motor will be very much "like new" for a long time to come.

I'm still trying to come to terms with the second image. Did the shaft break completely off the big end of the rod? Assuming that the rod cap is facing the camera, the shaft should be, well, it should be pointing straight away from the camera, embedded lengthwise in the block.

Good point Joe.
That is taking the picture laying on my back looking up at the oil pan..
So that rod is actually facing lets say the starter and clutch slave.

looking at it -its right behind the clutch slave
I have the magnet pointer on the bottom half of the rod.
When i move the rod with the magnet, it feels really destroyed in there.
Did that chip my F'n motor mount???

I think a rod bolt failure is the only way that could of happened. Bolt failed crank was rotating over at BDC or TDC, journal popped out and the bottom end of the rod just kept on trucking to the block wall. The thing I don't get is that it seems like the cylinder wall would stop it before the oil pan?? It must be really messy in there.

No **** LOL

I will take pics for all when I pull it apart. I was also wondering about why the oil pan and not the block. I guess it just wanted to head south..
