Sounds like an HKS SSQV

That sound you hear is compressor surge,the spring in the BOV is too tight.

My BOV makes that noise when it vents at low PSI.

You're right.

I just found a video of an HKS SSQV and its almost identical.

Yeah, I know its totally queer to get off on blow off valve noise, but there's an evo in my apartment complex with one, and it sounds like some star wars **** blowing off at 20+psi. They don't sound that impressive at the rational boost levels we run (and by "we" I mean everyone here but me).
