It has very little shaft play but the bearings make lots of noise.

ha, I mean you could do the garrett swap for like $400-500 or whatever it is to get a new one.

soak the bearings in wd-40 or similar, carbon may the cause...or just replace the bearings yourself for 60 bucks from gpop and have yourself a rebuilt turbo. its really not that hard if you have no damage on the wheels.

if its a really good price i would pick it up and do the CHRA exchange program thing that Garrett offers!

i was just saying what i would do, i dont want anything off that sucker man!

OMG way beyond what i'd pay. I could pay less to just have someone weld a better outlet on my SR20 =/

and are you postive its a BB turbo, i thought some of the 2554's were journal bearing.....
