it will certainly inspire a cache of fuckstick morons showing up at the race track who insist the car makes the lap time...not the corporate, cubicle-ista, Starbauck's dependent $30k-millionaire leasing it.

It should inspire a tremendous amount of ****-talking too.

Not quite sure why you'd ever want two turbos on any gas engine...

I'm looking forward to the 135i reviews.

the 135 is going to upset many people. There is just something about a really fast econo car that gets 30+MPG, and can smoke the average mustang. Comfortably.

Were you being sarcastic, or do you just not like the idea of 300lb-ft of torque from 1300-5000 RPM?

I think they said it has "dual vain" turbo, not dual turbos.

To piggyback on the above post.

The fat guy said,"A PAIR of dual vane turbos". A pair is two.

Next tuner's dream? I'm betting Dinan already has stuff for it and whatever other BMW tuners there are.

Well vishnu has already gotten their hands on it and have a 380-400hp package. And even though it will be driven by ******* lawyers, it still damn quick stock, 13.7 quarter.

Oh and like everyone has been saying, a 135i will most certainly be huge ****.

No, I have avatars turned off...I know TurboTim built a twin-turbo engine, though, hence my comment (and hence his ).

The 1-series is going to rewrite the book on "tuner" (I'm not a ricer ------) cars. Hopefully it will not inspire a bunch of other high powered rwd cars...I don't want to have the slowest car at the track even with my turbo build. Atleast...I don't want to drive the car hard if I could just parade around the track and pass around people..

The 335 is already big in the NOVA area. The teckademis crew have started buying them (see Teckademics if you dont know) and I plan personally on buying a 135.

I want a 135i hatch w/lsd. Now that would be an awesome DD.

Pick up a used one in a few years after I graduate.

The 335 is a nice car. My grandfather (not an ******* lawyer, worked for a power company his whole life) recently purchased one and it is a very nice ride. I only got to drive it for a few miles and never got to floor it since the engine only had about 30 miles on it at that point. +1 on the 135i. That is gonna be one hell of a deal a few years down the road when used ones are on the market.

$1200 for another 80hp. there IS no point buying / modding any other (new) car as far as '07 is concerned. this owns you. owns the old M3 at nurburgring. almost matching new M3 in HP and trumps it in tq. with the folding hardtop, E92 is the next big monster.

now i just gotta convince the fiance to go sit in a red convertible and i'll be selling every junker i own, down to the SV650.

i'm not a lawyer. no point to bash people who make money. that's just unncessary car hate. there are better mechanics/racer car drivers/autocrossers who ARE lawyers. And there are also plenty of as*hole in <insert any profession here>.
