ugh, cold start is a bitch, but yeah, we got a few inches of the white stuff here in indiana as well, with a 1/4" of solid ice covering everything.

i went for a nice winter drive down the street
there was about 3 inches on the ground,
no plows to be seen anywhere....

so anyway, im driving along
keeping it in 3rd, around 2500 or so
getting on it once in a while to have the rear end
squirl on me when boost hit

there was no one on the road so i was doing it for a good while.
finally, someone pulls out in front of me, so i stoped being a tool and drove normal
then the guy in front of me tries to take a turn and eats it hard into a curb

im like whoa!!!!!! broke his front axle and ****

thats when i was like F this shiznit

turned around and drove home

Tonight we just got a good foot of snow. The roads weren't plowed on my way home. The lines were covered up and people were driving all over the place. Snow isn't new to MI, yet no one can drive in it.

Having a winter car is the best. My 1988 Honda Accord does alright. Alot better than my Miata would.

Last year I wiped my IS300 across 2 lanes into the middle of the highway (thank god it was a grass median). I then had to walk 2 miles in the snowstorm to a gas station in work clothes. There was a 2-3 hr wait for a tow truck and luckily some country guy had a big truck w/ chains that pulled me out. I sold the IS300 after the summer and now use a 4WD daily. No more RWD daily for me.
