Car guy? I wish. Honestly, if Corky Bell or Robert Yates called me up tomorrow and said they wanted to hire me I'd do it. But the reality of it is it's just a hobby.
USC, no. In that area, I applied to Duke (my "reach" school), Wake Forest, and UNC.
I know, I grew up in Port Charlotte (between Tampa and Fort Myers on the gulf coast) and I did my undergrad in Gainesville. My first car was a '76 Beetle with straight pipes and a 2-barrel Weber.
I have little interest in Criminal law, although trial law in general is not entirely out. Most probably I'll end up doing something stuffy and boring like intellectual property, copyright, etc. But we'll have to wait and see. That's a long way off yet.
Yeah, I made that joke at the very start of the process when I took the LSAT last year. Said "Well, right now a best-case scenario is three years of brutal torture and humiliation, followed by the Bar exam. How sick is that?"
Ha! Always makes me laugh to learn that somebody actually read that whole thing to the end.
Well, depending on what 'Bama decides, it may not even be that far a drive.
It's an experience. You gotta do NYC, you gotta do So Cal. Funny, the one thing I will miss the most are the roads. Until you have stared death in the eye driving sideways through Hellhole Canyon, you have not lived.

My wife is now thinking that she's going to law school... I'll be broke for 3 years but it sounds like it's gonna be worth every penny spent. (Looks like she can get a high enough LSAT to get into a top school.)
