After piercing your taint and depositing......
Iodine 125 seeds into your prostate. How long would it take for those radioactive seeds to deliver 95% of their dose???
This is a relatively easy one, but I wanted to share the pain that I have been going through while prepping for my part two ABR physics exam on August 31.

I agree.
A lead pig (cylinder to put source inside) with 2cm wall thickness is inside a 30cm diameter polyurethane foam shipping drum. HVL of lead is 5.5mm. HVL (half value layer, thickness of material required to reduce exposure rate by 1/2) The exposure rate constant for Ir-192 is 4.69 R cm^2/ MCi hr at 1 meter. What is the max activity to keep the activity at the surface of the shipping container less than 50 mR/hr?

2cm/.55cm = 3.6HVL
3.6HVL = 9%
4690mR/hr * .09 = 422.1mR/hr
1m = 100cm
100cm/30cm = 3.3cm
πr² * ∫sinx^2x * 3.3cm
x = -sinxcosx * ∑f(422.1mR/hr*x)i+2
ln |-sinxcosx| / tan 1-(3.3^422.1mR/hr * x) + ∞
dy/dx (sin/cos x + 3648.2mR/hr * sec³x/cotx) * dy/dx -∫(csc²y)]0-2
3.6HVL / log(dT/dt K(y-T)) + x/2 - 2(ln 32mR/hr) * 372MCi + √(π-i)/(x) / 0
x =
Just tell people to stay away from the container lol. GL on the exam, I feel for you.

I know a few male nurses... they are more gay than boy george! But then again it could be a by-product of the DC region?
Ohh, here is a cool tool that we use for doing DER and DE calculations:
http://www.radprocalculator.com/
When all else fails... wear a dosimeter! Check out these guys:http://www.polimaster.us/
If you see anything you like... let me know cuz this is where I work
Cheers,
