I was in 7th grade and my whole school day watching the live TV of what was going on; i did not understand why my science teacher was panicking, teary eyed and on the phone until i got a bit older and he told us in 9th grade that his sister was in tower 1 on the 42nd floor but was able to get out before the building buckled. That was the first time I felt like a total asshole for the very first time in my life because I was making "macho" jokes about him before tower 2 crumbled first on the news. Everyone was silent after that.

I had a Ruger SR-22 as well but didn't own it very long (traded it for a 10/22). The only 22 pistol I currently have is a barely legal (still illegal in SC as far as I know) Phoenix HP22.
