No, it was from a web page where a guy posts photos of all of the weird crap that he hauls around on his car. I'm hoping that photo was taken before the straps were put in place, but you never know.

Is that not a sold billet of some iron based alloy? If it is, it probably weighs about 5 miatae and is most definitly shopped.

Edit- nm looks like it could be a drum or some round thing made of sheet metal.

This is a fun in car video from the leader of a Spec Miata race at Road Atlanta. The staggered start for the Spec Miatas and the Spec E30's didn't go as planned and the leaders of SM came rushing around the last corner to find the E30's just pulling away from the starting line. Madness ensues. Lots of passing and re-passing.
