This is gonna sound weird: We have no idea who this guy is. We don't pay him. We don't have a contract with him. He just shows up at all of our big remotes and does his Cap'n Jack routine. He seems harmless, and the crowds love him, so we just kinda let him slide.

I just want to ask a couple of questions here before I start a huge build thread...

Oil drain and turbo supports are done (Weight of the two turbos plus associated hardware is considerable, hence the supports)

This is what I came up with. Please let me know if I am doing it wrong. (Engine is sideways on the stand in some pics, btw)

Oil drain is 3/4" ID all the way down (Turbo oil drain outlet is 1/2")

I made the supports adjustable - threaded rod is stainless steel M10X1.50

That's quite pretty.

Based on experience, I suspect that the threaded-rod sections will either bend or stretch under heat and load (depending upon the forces being applied), but I doubt that their presence will hurt anything.

Joe, I have no room to triangulate the supports.
Stainless rod was the best I could think of with the available space.
The manifold itself is very strong - 3 mm wall thickness all around.
My main concern is the load on the manifold studs that go into the aluminum head.

Boys like Peter are afraid of a lot of things,
like nuclear annihilation and flunking algebra,
but they're not afraid of wolves.

(musical interlude)

But Grandfather got Peter in a headlock and dragged him home,
telling him that he was grounded and that
he couldn't watch any cartoons for three weeks.

Very interesting old van dragged out of the woods. Vintage Star Trek livery.

I want that van. For no reason at all other than I think it’s cool.

I witnessed a remarkable conversation Wednesday evening from the back seat of a Ford pickup in rural Central Georgia. I regret not capturing the first few minutes of dialogue but it was even better and because of it I was compelled to record and share the characters with you all. The hunched over crazy old woman was only part of the story. I was unable to show the other two characters outside of the truck - a tall, scrawny blonde woman with sagging skin on her face arms and legs, and a rather rough looking slightly less emaciated male counterpart. They appeared to be conducting a weight loss study related to the effects of illicit substances.

I give to you the crazy cat lady.

I love it, i think she's great.
I'd absolutely share a case of beer and blooming onion with her.

Unsure what's wrong with passenger seat.

I have no relevant pictures. So here is something from work.

You are supposed to tighten that screw up. ^^
