But it was an interesting photo op, which I could not pass up. Sidebar: Trippy shit like this was how I learned to count. As it turns out, knowing how to count is useful in the context of becoming an engineer. I did not recognize the significance of this at the time. |
In my search for info on closed loop boost control, I came across this video.
P, I and D became very clear to me after I watched it. I am learning. |

Detroit has the stupid scooters.
https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...5bee0c6d97.jpg The birds are fastest, but the limes are better. The orange ones get thrown in the river. People are riding them on the highway. |

Lyft stock has lost nearly 50% of it's value since the IPO. So, it is probably a bad investment at least.

Chicago recently ended its pilot program. Never used one. I'm not sure how it's even possible to ride one of those here, given the condition of the pavement.
Unrelated old blueprint that looked to be hand drawn. I thought it was pretty cool since i am normally always using digitally created prints. Though i'm sure this isn't uncommon for a lot of people. Especially you Joe, working with all your legacy equipment. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...4e90046566.jpg |

This was my exact thoughts before i tried one too. They handle some pretty serious bumps well. The issue is that they go so damn fast. Like 30mph fast. That's what gets people in trouble.

Dealing with old formats is sometimes challenging. Until about two years ago, we still had a few DOS machines to access the legacy wiring database, which was in FoxPro. I converted that to an Excel spreadsheet. And, God bless AutoDesk, I can still open an AutoCAD drawing from the 1980s (sometimes via a convoluted conversion process) today. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...cc92a664a0.png |
