I have no idea how long it's been like this, hell it could have been like this when i bought it. Speaking of when i bought it, it was such a nice car. Super clean Kentucky car with decent miles. It's too bad i pound 30k miles on my vehicles a year.

You can see the hose clears in this pic. The only reason i noticed the balancer wobble was because i was under the car looking for the power steering line that had a hole while someone was turning the wheel with the engine on.
I fixed the power steering line leak.

While i was down there, i also noticed this. Looks like the "frame rail" in FRONT of the subframe mounts is split in two. I know it's rusty and my winter beater, but i can't imagine how it would split like this. lol

The power steering was leaking for a while before it totally blew. And yeah we use a TON of salt. We have a huge salt mine right in Detroit.
This is why I'm not going to drive the SS in the winter

I've seen this before, and I've never been able to see any of the plates as being upside down. They all appear to be right side up for me.

Something is wrong with my brain. Depth-based optical illusions don't work for me. I was never able to see the hidden image in "magic eye" photos, and 3D movies fail completely. I've tried the red / blue ones, the cross-polarization ones, and the shutter-glasses ones. No 3d perception at all, just two separate images transposed onto a flat surface.

That one doesn't work for me, either. All I see is a mid 90s Camaro with popup headlights grafted on.

Now we know why there was a very loud squealing sound coming from the cooling tower on the roof. Frankly, I'm a bit amazed this shaft is still in one piece.

Normally, one expects there to be, well, bearing-stuff inside of that housing.
