Yes, we usually get same-day delivery from McMaster, next-day from Grainger.
I do miss getting next-hour delivery from B&H back when I worked in Manhattan. Say what you will about the company (and there is a lot to say about them), but they do take care of their local TV customers. Need to borrow a $200,000 lens for one specific shot? No problem, we'll call it a demo. And, for genuine emergencies, they will actually send a warehouse guy to hop on the subway and hand-deliver the part to you, at no charge. (This is not an official policy so far as I know, just a thing that happens when needed. There is an un-written rule that you do not abuse this privilege.)
