I'd love to see what's below the fiberglass on that. IOW, is it just a re-skin dropped on top of a cut-down Miata unibody (like the Karmann Ghia), or is it a proper tube-frame chassis with the Miata subframes bolted in, ala Catfish / Exocet?

Or, put another way, what's the weight?

 

 

I wish there was more information. They definitely have a lot of tube stuff though.

From the available pics, it sure it looks like it's just a reskinned Miata, with maybe a few changes. But not a full tube chassis.

Either way, doesn't look great.

Anyone have any idea what happened to him? He was so close with that project, and it looked like a really cool ride. Then he just disappeared.
