Should I even ask how the operator got into that position? ...wait...I get it....that was training incase they got into a situation like that...right?

 

 

I was pulling into MSR-H and saw an old Ford Ranger seriously overloaded with a goose-neck trailer. I really wish i had that picture.

 

Actually, he was practicing climbing the machine down into the canal bottom after I taught him how. Those Kaisers are designed to climb into and out of places where other machines can't go. That little canal was a practice location and was very easy to learn in. I didn't want to give him anything too tough or too deep just starting out.

I just got a little video uploaded of the operator learning to climb out of the canal with the machine. At :43 he finds a soft spot with the right front claw and moves it over and tries again. This was his very first time ever taking this machine into a ditch.

 

^^ I miss getting equipment out of fun places at the golf course i worked at right on the shore. This mess was done by another worker and my buddy and I were left to clean it all up. He was brush hogging the marsh and too lazy to use our floating mower w/ the ARGO amphibious atv so he decided to use the good old ford. We ended up having to drive a mason dump down there and strap a chain to the bucket and walk it out that way, using the mason dump as a good anchor.
