Really? We were completely stripped of all local admin rights after they deployed Avecto.
Funny conversation between myself & helpdesk the following day:
Me: Yes, I'm trying to install this piece of software, and I appear to no longer have admin rights on my own PC here in my office.
Them: What piece of software is this?
Me: Vistamax Control Center.
Them: Has that been submitted to us for approval?
Me: It was just compiled about ten minutes ago.
Them: ...
Me: You do realize that we CREATE software here, right?
TLDR; because we needed to be "more secure", I may or may not have re-formatted five of the machines in the office with a pirated copy of WinXP and connected them directly to the Harris LAN with no antivirus or access-control software whatsoever.

GEEK MODE ENGAGE!
It is a measure of propulsion efficiency within the fictional Star Trek universe.
The Cochrane is a unit of measurement of warp field intensity, named after Zefram Cochrane, inventor of the terran warp drive.
The megawatt is, well, a megawatt. A generic unit of measurement of power, similar to the horsepower.
Thus, analysis of warp engine performance in megawatts/cochrane is analogous to measurement of gasoline engine performance in terms of liters/hour of gasoline per horsepower. An engine with a lower lph/hp rating will travel further on one unit of gasoline, or produce more power for a given flowrate of fuel, or consume less fuel for a given distance traveled at a given speed.
Likewise, as the performance of a warp engine in mw/c increases, the intensity of the warp field per unit of antimatter consumed increases. This translates to increased distance per unit of fuel consumed, or increased range before refueling.
Note 1: this analysis is independent of the energy loads placed upon the warp core to supply hotel and tactical energy requirements- eg: keeping the lights and gravity on, powering the phaser weapon arrays and defensive shields, driving the navigational deflector, etc. For a starship which is engaged principally in long-range interstellar exploration, these loads are assumed to be trivial as compared to the propulsion load. For vessels which are primarily stationary in nature or which lack warp-drive capability altogether (eg: subspace comm relays, starbases, etc) these loads represent a significant portion of total energy consumption, and must be separately computed.
Note 2: this analysis either ignores the efficiency of the conversion of antimatter into energy, presupposes that the efficiency of this conversion is a constant across all operating conditions, or refers to the potential energy of the antimatter store (eg, by assuming that each unit of AM contains a certain amount of potential energy as expressed in megawatt-hours) rather than by rating the energy in megawatts at a point after the matter-antimatter reaction.

It's not full admin rights, but I'm able to do everything I need to. I'm still able to do things like change my IP address (novel idea for a network engineer) and for what I can't do, I can use privilege guard. I just created a shortcut to mmc and can do everything else from that using PG.
I'd share my experience with the help desk, but they provided me a HUGE security hole which would be a bad idea to discuss on a forum.
on the one hand, I LOVE having full access rights to our network. Thanks god most of the people here in our office are computer literate. I absolutely hate doing IT support.
Or a girl named "La-a"

So several weeks ago, I had an epiphany:
The iPhone is like that girlfriend you had in college that you were absolutely head over heels for, but EVERYONE YOU KNEW HATED HER. Your friends and family constantly told you that she was wrong for you, and you didn't understand why they all didn't like her as much as you did. Your best friend told you she was cheating on you with her ex and also with one of your friends, and your mom said she stole $300 from her purse. They were all wrong, though. They had to be. They all wanted your girl for themselves. There's no way that YOUR wonderful, sexy, amazing, caring, selfless girlfriend would EVER do any of those things... she was perfect...if only they could have a girl that was EXACTLY like yours, they would know. They would understand.
