No matter how you drive, accidents will happen they are unavoidable. Driving one way or another might increase or decrease your chances but just about every week I have some asshole who almost hits me. Shit happens thankfully so far the miata hasn't been hit. It's just the way driving is everyone has there heads up there ass.

Just your luck that you were involved if I were you fix what you have collect the rather generous insurance checks they normally hand out and make your miata do wheelies.

Miatas are extremely small cars on a side note hard to see especially if you have suspension.

On a motorcycle you assume you're in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, and that the cagers are all zombies, but smart ones that figured out it's easier to catch prey on four wheels, and have found that bikers are incredibly easy targets.

In traffic on a bike I seriously ride around repeating in my head: "Who's gonna try to kill me next while looking down sideroads, adjust lane position for the guy that just move into the next lane and is 30ft ahead where I'm in his blind spot, etc.

This is why I bought a miata and not a bike... although sometimes I feel as though it wouldnt be much different

So to top it off the asshole’s argument now is that he was already into the street when I collided into him. Wow just motherfucking wow. I feel like skullfucking this asshole. Here are the pics I took just after the collision occurred. As you can see it is clearly this ass-to-mouth cocksucker son of a bitch was not already into the street. The front of my car is in perfect condition and the damage from the actual collision starts on the fender pass the tire and continues into the door.

I shouldve been a dick and claim back and neck pain and fuck this ------’s insurance as much as I could. You cant be nice and fair in this fucking city.

This is the intersection

I don't understand, every road in FL is straight, how do you keep crashing...

buffon01 03-16-2010 12:41 PM

Motherfuckers keep flying out of intersections like that.

wayne_curr 03-16-2010 12:45 PM

Oh man that blows :(

Its pretty clear by the picture that he was at fault but try telling his insurance company that.

buffon01 03-16-2010 12:57 PM

Well I really dont have to

1 I have right of way
2 The stop sign is about 15 feet back from where he merged into my path
3 Police report and citations point to him as responsible
4 My inhouse attorney doesnt have a problem handling my shit again.(free of charge) :giggle:

Also the other driver only defensive argument is that he was already on the street, which is obviously not true as he hit me almost by the door.

Just fight the insurance and get as much as you can. They initially offered in the $2K range and I ended up with ~$4,200 (and the car).

This.

Had an insurance company lowball me on a motorcycle once.

I fought, stubbornly for two months. Ended up getting strong market value for the bike, all my gear replaced, chiro visits paid for, and some time and trouble. It all went towards buying a very nice bike a few months later.

I am pretty sure i am going to buy a 86 chevy truck here in san antonio. People here just seriously don't give a crap. They will see you, and pull out or merge anyways. I have had to slam my brakes, dodge, and even pull up the wheel chair ramp on a sidewalk to dodge a dumbass. Ive pretty much assumed people can't see my tiny ass car. I can't wait to get something big and crappy and just let people wreck they're nice new cars into it.
