BTW, the MB forum loves it when I drum up this stuff and recommend that people get Miatas instead of SLs. They go ape-****. It's fun . . . and I just might save someone.

I doubt it. Anyone seriously considering an SL is not going to step down to a miata. MAYBE if they got to ride in a well prepped turbo car but I still doubt it. BECAUSE STATUS SYMBOL

I think you're right. I have no objective evidence that I've saved anyone -- and you should see the flames!! But I still try . . . it's the only humane thing to do.
