Any fraking BSG fans here?
So who else is into Battlestar? Show yourselves.
For those who are wondering wtf, and think Battlestar is basically a Star Trek knockoff then I will set you straight. You have been mis lead. Sure it takes place in space, but unlike Star Trek which centers around Space/Technology in BSG its really the back drop to a much larger much more complicated story line. Also, unlike Star Trek, BSG is one story arc unlike Star Treks numerous arcs and many disjointed episodes in between. Deep Spaces 9 was the most un Star Trek of all the Star Treks because it was more linear, I also think its the best out of all except TOS(which I don't include in my metric).
So basically, if you have never seen BSG then you really should get your *** in gear and watch. I guarantee you will fall in love.

i had to "find" the last two episodes for last season because directv sucks a ********. luckily i did and Fios made it easy to get them quickly. so like no spoilers n junk.
Thanks for the no spoilers. My DVR took a **** before I saw the latest episode.
I didn't get into BSG until after the 2nd season was over and was able to get the first two bootlegged cheap. I was hooked after the first episode though.
I'm a SW/ST fan, but I like how gritty BSG is. I also like all the space combat and continuous story line.

Yeah, your point?
I hated the original BSG. Even back when it was in primary syndication it was a campy, poorly written, Star Trek ripoff.
The "Re-imagined" series is something else. The way I like to describe it to people is that from a plot standpoint, it isn't really scifi. It's a rather good sociopolitical / military thriller that happens to take place on spaceships.

I'm truly clueless about how they're going to end it.
Though you would think it would be a more technologically advanced settlement seeing as how they had to have flown to earth. So maybe they will shed like on that, something along the lines of the colonist let go of their past and eliminated that technology.
I am truly clueless, I cant even begin to guess at how they will end the series with that cliff hanger. Not to mention we still have one more cylon to go, and a cylon/cylon pregnancy to explain which raises even more questions.
