I don't want to be the only diy turbo guy in a sea of wine and cheesers. It's not until July 27-29, but if you want a hotel close by, you have to make reservations this early. I was there last year and had fun, although it was also my first road trip without parents. My buddy that went with me last year is planning on driving his car this year, too (bimmer Z3).

I'll may go. There is a track day 2 weeks before that at mid-ohio and then I was planning on going to American Lemans / IRL racing at mid-ohio on the 20-21 so I don't know if the wife will let me be gone 3 weekends in a row. It would be nice to try meeting up with some people for the drive down.

 

I am going! Hopefully we will have a whole bunch of people from Texas this year. Last year was a blast!

There should be a "northern" group there too.... usually there's been at least of few of the locals making the trip down.

Did 3 years in a row... but I missed out on last year.....

I'm going, but I'm going August 3-5 with the Saturn group that I made plans with before my turbo'd SL got totalled.
