what program to use to burn Movies that can be seen on PS2
Ok so I just got a DVD burner (yeah yeah i'm a late adopter) for a good deal at a local electronics store. Samsung unit, that if I recall is a Dual Layer. So I have nero 6 and was trying to use it to create DVD's to watch on my PS2. I was not burning games or copying DVD's but trying to put AVI's of shows like BestMotoring and Top Gear on too the DVD's. I had nero convert the files into a playable format. I then tried watching them on my PS2.
Now I do not get a disc error message but the PS2 can not load it. It keeps saying "loading Disc". I tried burning a "burned" movie that my friend had given me (that i know works on my ps 2 ) and itwould read his burned copy but not mine. They would play fine on my sisters DVD player as well as the DVD drive.
I am using DVD-R which I know work on my PS2 (i forget what version it is). I was just wondering if there was a trick to getting the PS2 to play them, maybe a vob file or something that I needed to change or edit. Or maybe just using a different program to burn it. Or maybe the TDK media that i am useing is not PS2 friendley.
