Punch in the face hardly seems our style. Tell him something witty first, like "even the gey guy in the miata thinks your car sucks" then go for the groin!

Oh yea, i forgot there was a thread here about it. One of his lil butt-buds came on here to accuse me of stealing it b/c of all the tension between the two of us.

Damn. That's sad. I mean, if you were gonna build an intercooler from Lowes, he could have done sooo much better....

Use Steel pipes instead of PVC as it will transfer heat better and will act as a heat sink better.
Buy a bunch of copper **** and make on but that would be $$$ but might prove to work well.

Kidding. I can't believe anyone would do that. I mean, Lazzer is the king of cheap and even he wouldn't make the intercooler PVC, though charge pipes are fair game.

From his build thread Lazzer seems like a resourceful guy (except for the pvc). wonder what happened to him.

i think he had it rigged up as charge pipe temporarily. which is not bad, but not a good idea either.

well lazzer did it to use as a sort of functional template for making the aluminum pipes... it allowed him to **** up a lot for cheap and save the pricey mandrel bends for after he trouble shooted the squeeks and rattles.

Yup, dropped it on on Saturday actually (2" F, 2.4" R) so it no longer has the factory "prison sex" stance.

...I've been away from the Miata too long, I'm modding the OTM...

I just explained to my mother what I was laughing at while on the phone with her, and her response was: "PVC pipes for an intercooler? That's just stupid, why would you do that?"

It only made me laugh harder.

If I ever get tired of having an actual intercooler and simultaneously feel the need to jeopardize the safety of me and my family, I'll give it a shot.
