this won't be for the miata, it's already got nice seats. This is for my 240sx. I need cheap front seats in black, not hardcore race seats but maybe "race style" seats that are fully reclinable. Must be comfortable and at least as supportive as stock seats and not be a pain in *** to get in and out like tube frame seats. Anyone ever sit in any ebay seats?
I've never sat in one, but would you mind linking one of the ones you're talking about. I personally wouldn't buy too cheap of seats for sake of knowing the craftsmenship of something that needs to hold me in place during a wreck. Who knows, maybe they're quality though.
My friend has "bombz racing" seats in his mustang. They are reclineable ones. They hold you in pretty good, but are only somewhat confortable. I like my momo start seat much better. He paid ike $200 ish for a pair, so you really cannot complain. They do have a odd front kick up that was hard to postion right..
All the ones I have seen come through the shop have been junk. **** fabric, uncomfortable and flimsy. Recaro and Sparco are worth the extra dough. If you need something inexpensive but good let me know. I have a few used seats laying around.
I had some ebay seats in my s13 for like a week.
Got the seats, realized they didnt fit. Ordered like $250 worth of Bride rails and sliders.
Seats ended up sitting waaaaayy to high so unless you intend to custom fab some stuff, you'll be sitting up too high

I had to fab my stock brackets to fit, then fab them into the damn car. Quite a mess.
