Anyone have/used a noise suppressor (silencer) for their gun?

Like a shifter handle on the shifter? That would be MINT. A shifter handle that you unscrew and then screw onto the barrel of your .22 or whatever gun you have. Obviously, there would be a thread adapter on the shifter itself, so the threaded adapter would have the same threads as your gun barrel. The supressor could even say MiataTurbo.net, compliments of ME. What's it worth? I'm thinkin $500 paypal as a gift, for the supressor and the adapter and you provide the thread pitch / caliber, and length you want. Shipping included.

Or a custom tactical flashlight that just so happens to thread onto the barrel...

IDK if it has already been mentioned but when i went to go look at getting a P22, one of my friends that owns a gun shop here was showing me a sweet *** surpressor that you can take apart for cleaning (good option to look in to sence you would probly be shooting a .22 alot cause of how cheap the ammo is)
If you've ever heard multiple 7.62x51 rounds firing next to your ear WITHOUT EAR PLUGS, you'll understand why several people (including me) appreciate the supressor.
After running 600 rounds out of a Ruger yesterday... even through ear stuff... I can't imagine myself rationalizing the expense.
It's like the guy next to men yesterday... had a pile of guns. Modded stuff, shotgun, ar15 with tons of crap on it, LOUD .357, crapload of other stuff, etc.... was such a bad shot it made me chuckle/sad/cringe. Bought lots of stuff... no real reason.
Unless you need to work some covert ops for the government... or MUST kill varmits in the backyard...

I have several guns over here. Other than my concealed pistol, none are really needed. They are toys and the sound suppressor would just be another toy. Actually, I would probably start shooting my gun in my back yard from time to time (I live in a neighborhood) if it was not so loud.
Then again, I think I look at it like track time. There is a time and a place for everything... car fun > track, gun fun > range.
I think it's hilarious that you posted in the Christmas presents thread about how it was all a waste of money, and a bunch of **** about frugal this frugal that. Yet here we are looking at a $600 silencer with pretty much zero purpose.

I am DEFINITELY practicing what I preach. If you don't waste money for decades on stupid crap you can later have money for things that you want. That $25 I saved in 1995 by not going to see Toy Story in the theater has turned into $600. Are you saying that I can NEVER buy something I want for the rest of my life? I think you are missing the point of becoming a millionaire. Like Dave Ramsey says "Live like no one else so later you can live like no one else". You aren't going to be able to buy a silencer because you just had to buy your aunt that dancing Santa toy years ago. THAT is was a waste of money.
