Brain, I am right there with you. I use my cell phone for....umm.....minimal or emergency calling only. If someone calls me on it, and it isnt a family member in dire need, I will call them when I get home or to my destination. Seriously, I dont need to be connected all the time, nor do I want to be. The iPhone is pretty neat, but I would never need 95% of the things it or anyother high-tech phone can do.

I can still remember, in the not so long ago past, when pagers were the hot thing to have.

Personally I don't care though. I don't need a phone that big or with the connection to the internet. Texting GOOGLE (466453) is free and gives me basically any info that I need.

the more features the add the more phones suck.

Thats why I bought this euro nokia. Tough as nails, and makes calls. Plus I can always use the flashlight, compass, and thermometer in it.

Unfortunately Palm is the only decent touch screen out. When they fix their
A) bluetooth headset compatibility
B) get a headset jack that doesnt break everything you plug something into it.

 

bt works fine on mine. i have a headset, but never use it. i used to wear it when i was on my motorcycle, but i don't ride anymore.

 

Im sorry I mean headphones. Palm doesnt support A2CP or whatever is used to have bt headsets
