Oh, again, I'm not saying it won't work. I'm not trying to slap you around, just saying there are some better ways to skin that cat more efficiently. :-)

Congrats on losing that much weight, that must have felt awesome.

I'm slammed at work, but I'll try to dig up some good recources and put them in thie thread in the not so distant future.

Would appreciate it. I do understand that my smoothie is not the pinnacle of nutritional science, and lacks certain things, but it's still not THAT bad. Even with the 3 or 4 tbsp of honey which I put for flavor and a quick energy to get me up and out the door, the entire smoothie only has about 700 calories, and about 100g of sugar. And I only drink half of that for a single meal. So I start my day off with a "meal" that has only about 350 calories and about 50g of sugar. Considerably healthier than a 20oz Mountain Dew breakfast like some people have on the way to work, even if it does have nearly as much sugar. Really, if I cut the honey, it would cut the sugar in half. So I'm not seeing how everyone is saying that it has THAT much sugar in it.

It has to be better for you than some of the alternatives I would probably find myself eating in a hurry.

Since mine is so terrible, and there are better options, by all means link me to some of them, please.

Whatver works son, whatever works. But why you get fat again?

I also lost 90lbs not shiittting you from eating nothing but gummy bears, gummy worms, spinach, and tomatoes. Plus the occasional taco bell fest.

Your shake would still jack me the fu up on big sugar high.

I vote for food-lifestyle change and find a healthy diet you can and will live off for years. yay

I didn't really get fat again, just put on weight. Only reason I gained it back was a total lack of motivation to keep a healthy lifestyle over the last year or so. I got lazy physically, and I got lazy with my diet. I have now, aside from the shakes, gotten back to a healthier, low calorie diet like I used to be on. A good mix of protein from fish and lean beef, and green veggies, nuts, ect. Already, in just a few weeks I have lost 12lbs, most of which is probably initial water weight. Last time following pretty much an identical diet, I lost about 1.5 pounds per week on average. This time I will be doing a lot more exercise, so probably more. Then once I finish cutting and get back down to 155ish, I will bulk back up in a healthy way, unlike last time. Mid way through bulking I said ---- it, and started eating like a slob again, and it showed. Then I have to find a way to not lose my motivation again, and keep up the healthy lifestyle.

I often start my smoothies with an avocado. I also use frozen fruit and no ice. Kale is good to put in a smoothie, or spinach. I don't do dairy, so I either use fruit juice or almond milk. Mine are pretty much full of sugar, but I don't add any extra and I'm watching this thread in case anybody suggests other things that don't involve meat and olive oil.
