6UL's w/ RA-1's over sway bars with brackets, stock 15's with RA-1's, sport brakes, a trailer, and other cool track toys I want? I know I'll need some of that eventually.
I'm worried the RA-1's are overkill. I was planing on putting the extra money toward a track membership at $2500. ITs $2500 1 time, then $100 per track day.

At ECR the junior membership is $2500, then $100 per track day with unlimitted sessions, and no monthly fee. This track is only 20 minutes from my permenant office...if I ever get there. I've never driven the track though, I might now like it. As long as I travel, this is the way to go since there is no monthly fee, and I haven't been home in 7 months to use the membership.
I can put that toward the $5000 initiation for the "private" membership. That's the $250 per month, I can take family members every day I go, and no session fees. Its a much better deal, and the 1.7 at MSR is kinda boring, and 9 minutes away.

Hmm, I hadn't heard of ECR before. Let us know how it is.
I agree that MSR isn't the best track, but it's better than nothing. Few years ago, when I was living in Houston, a race shop I worked at had some weird connection with MSR that allowed us free time on the track as long as we let them know we were coming, and we could get there. It was plenty worth the drive for free track time. But I wouldn't pay monthlyl!

how long do ra-1's last in a garage? I was going to buy some stockers today, but the guy is changing the deal on me. I don't know how often I'll get to run...I may only get like 4 or 5 track days per year, and I don't want to waste the tires in the garage.
