Actually it has a ring of truth to it. Seriously, you can look at it any number of ways but the money to fund terrorism, insurgencies, coup d'état's, and all sorts of other silliness often comes from us (whether we fund it directly or indirectly.) Now I'm not anti-islamic or anti-us, but often both parties are guilty of funding terrorism... I would call satellite guided bombs or Hell-fire missiles both terror weapons.

Money comes from everywhere in the market.

Many of these "terror organizations" get their money the way many governments and many none profit organizations get their money.

This is a joke, but in poor taste and based on the real fears of many Americans.

Make note, Hamas is the officially elected political party of a mostly stateless, right less people and not everyone in the middle east is Muslim, terrorist, hating America, ect.

 

Point is, as you make as well, that it's a far more complex issue than just oil for money for terrorism. It's just not that simple... just as the war in Iraq, it's not about oil... but try telling some people that. You'd swear that they were in on the cabinet writing national security policy.
