its what i hope to do someday when i can get another. They come pre-overclocked from the factory (as long as it says XXX) and two would still save you some money over the 8800 GTX
Is that for dual screens or do you have to get some type of cable to output to one ?

it uses the same cable, it just comes with a clip to clip the top of each card together so that they can run in tandem. So all you do is insert the second card and attach the said clip and done.

First step i'd take is to not buy from TigerDirect....I used to work for them, and it's about the most *** backwards computer company there is.

Buy from newegg

no no no no.

for budget am2 motherboard i would suggest MSI K9N4 SLI-F or ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe because they use nvidia chipsets which i generally had better experience with.
stick with that cpu - it is good.

for hard drive, go for western digital or seagate - you wont regret it

ram - g.skill is uber cheap and awesome. go for lower cas latency (CL) numbers and also look for lower timing.

video card - Leadtek PX8500GT TDH 512MB GeForce 8500GT 512MB 128-bit GDDR2

now, if you want to squeeze some juice out of it, go for dfi motherboard, and use g.skill dual channel black or gold kit. also you would need better cooling. scyche is good for that - cheap and reliable. then you can easily get another 20-30% more power and still have very reliable computer.
