yup...that sucks man, if i ever found kids that did **** to my car theyd be dead prob, came outside once when i was parked at work, some idiot scraped the whole drivers side of the car prob pulling in thinking they can fit in a tight spot, noticed they scratched my whole drivers side and drove off. ****** people these days. Is there an alarm system that you can get for convertables like sensors when they touch the top it would go off?

 

Sounds like something i'd do to someone. I honestly wouldn't know what i;d be capable of if i cought someone ******* with my car..... i'm sure there'd be a high risk of me going to jail too though...

 

Car, house, yard, whatever...trespassing is a bad idea at night. The minute you confront a tresspasser, your life is in danger. There was a nasty court case a few years ago in TX where a guy killed a car theif with a deer rifle at dusk. He went to court over it, but luckily was not convicted.

last week my friends MP3 Protege got broke into, no sign of vandalism, looked like they had a key, took out the CD and factory sub out of the trunk, no wires were cut, nothing was scratched, etc. real pros...this is the hottest time of year for these ****** though...

It's shitty, but I'd rather have this than just about anything else. You just go replace the stuff, plug it right back in, and you're done. Most thieves tear up the dash, cut wires, and make it harder for everyone.

yeah i probably wouldnt mind so much if they just broke in properly. the miata is such an easy car to get into, there was no need to slash the top and pry open the glove box. not to mention that there was nothing in plain view!

In high school my friend had a really nice jeep and this guy ripped his snorkle off, kicked in his center caps and let the air out of his spare tire. My friend was dating the kids ex g/f.

To get him back he followed him home in a friends car then went back at night. He tied 4 cinder blocks to the pipe just before the muffler of his car and then slid them under the rear. I can only imagine the sound of the exhaust ripping off, followed by bouncing cinder blocks. Ah high school...

You can make the alarm go off if anyone approaches the car within a foot from any direction. Also with a delay, so if its just people walking around it doesnt go off.

 

I had one of these once, but there was a problem with metallic window tint and false alarms so I switched to a motion sensor.

my friend that I wrote about here, got his CD player back!!! YEAH!
at a random check point for x-mas, the cops saw 3 CD players in this dudes backseat, checked him out and they were all reported stolen, guy is in jail, its the third time he got caught for stealing ****, and my friend got his CD player back, the sub-woofer was already gone by the time the cops busted the guy, so yeah, uh, the cops do actually work... sometimes
they told my frind that its very unusuall that this happen, most times they never catch the guy who did it...weired

 

Is that a Laguna? I'll try to hide this from my girlfriend. She would cry. Just got hers back from the body shop on Friday. $4500 in repairs
