I'm got ~38, so quite a few to go.

Last nights brew:

Not my favorite, but then again I'm not really much of a stout fan.

the other day I walked into the market around the corner and the owner's son was pouring free beer from Star Hill (Charlotte NC). they have a damn good and very smooth stout. try it YOU LIKE IT.

they also gave away two kegs of the stuff. no cost to enter. only like 20 entries total. I must enter all future drawings. and get a kegerator.

I love my neighborhood.

Fine, fine.

I'd give it a 8 out of 10, on par with the Celebrator. Very smooth, not too thick or bitter, very high drinkability for it's alcohol content. A beer solid beer with a great after taste.

Just finished a few too many of these. What can I say, it's been one of my favorites lately.

Maniac,
Something weird happened to me in Austin...I started drinking beer again. I've been on nothing but wine for about 3-years but suddenly I discovered a bunch of awesome stuff from that area and started drinking beer again. Too bad the weather sucks, the land is flat, there are no tracks, the people are mean, and the rent is high.

Weird things always happen in Austin:

I'm really liking the Fireman's #4 now that the weather is warming up. We should go down to Blanco for a brewery tour on a Friday, it's free and the drive is completely flat.

No, but 10 years ago I couldn't legally purchase and mainly enjoyed Anybeer.

I've had Rogue Mocha Stout (or something like it) and didn't enjoy it.

The DB admin here at work found out I knew a bit about Miatas and asked why his leg kept getting hot in his 94. He had the car to a few garages and they couldn't fix the problem. I told him it was the rubber boot on the shifter. Today I find this on my desk, in a nice "Forty sized paper bag".

Not bad for 3 minutes of conversation.
