Beer of the Day thread (and ci-derp)

We don't save, we drink. Interesting you posted this. Sept 1, was 2 years since I bought the current house myself and my much better half live in (and the 3 dogs and 1 garbage cat).
We are looking to hopefully sell this place in a couple of years.
Thankfully OK is cheap, so my modest income should allow us to buy a relatively nice house on 5 to 20 acres. Just need a few extra bedrooms so I'm able to invite people down to have a glass of bourbon and smoke a joint.

Best $14 out the door for 30 cans of beer I could've ever spent my money on. I found out about this stuff like 2 1/2 months ago, Probably went through like 11 cases so far.
Try it...it's what $2.67 a 6 pack? How can you go wrong?

@Joe Perez , good news is the new W00ts' out. (just 22oz. bombers and draft)
Bad news is it's only being distributed in CA. apparently.

Hey, remember when this thread was a thing that existed?
Why is it that, in a time when so many people are sequestered, and alcohol consumption is allegedly skyrocketing worldwide as a result, is there not more beer in here?
Just poured this:
I'm a big fan of Dragon's Milk, but had never had (or even heard of) a white stout before. So I had to try it.
It's interesting.
I'm finding it had to describe. Nothing at all like the regular blend. It's giving me a sort of Trappist vibe. Kind of like Delerium, but a tad sweeter.
It's pretty good. Not at all what I was expecting (actually, I didn't really have a solid expectation) but good none the less.

Enjoying one of these tonight:
From the rear label:
"Aromas of light allspice, caramel, and mellow oak barrel char jump from the glass while notes of dark chocolate and toffee coat the palate, finishing with a smooth bourbon snap, rested in Four Roses barrels for 16 months"
ABV: 13.25%
IBU: 50

In an effort to go through my beer cellar, I recently pulled out this vertical tasting of the last seven years of Bourbon County, plus one of the current special editions. The general consensus (among the 6 people I coerced into it) was that the '16 was the best, followed closely by the '14 and then the '20.

Well, yet another year has passed and thus it is time for my annual reminder to @Joe Perez that the new w00tstout was just released (in 6-packs, bombers, and draft).

Thank you, sir.
Looks like the nearest stock is in Calumet City. Old people may remember this as the location of the Saint Helen of the Blessed Shroud Orphanage, as well as Ray's Music Exchange.
