Tonight:
Bell's Smitten Golden Rye Ale

Looks like a light bodied beer but no-sir-ree-bob! This is a Michigan take on a west coast pale maybe. modestly sticky hops and quite tasty. Very drinkable for so much hop-forwardness.
LAST NIGHT:
Bellerose. (on the right)

It was ok. EuroIPA + Biere de Garde hybrid...like a farmhouse/saison with some spiciness and hoppiness. I dunno, the genra of euro ipas tend to be too funky or sour for me or something. My beer nerd wife didn't even finish hers.

No, but my miata is. You'll be glad I also had a white russian at applebees, it cost $6.99 and I've had much better, I think milk was used and I generally prefer cream, but I digress, this thread is about beer.
Why you no like Blue Moon? Or does a 36 rack of bud light offend your taste? There where 3 of us, and we're just poor guberment workers.

A liquor store by my friend Issacs house in Santa Clara. Best selection of good beer I've seen in a looooong time. They have the HUGE(practically novelty size) bottles of double bastard for sale and when I bought the black out they offered to sell me some pliney the elder that they keep in the back room. I'll definitely be going back to check out the other beers I didn't recognize.

I don't hate Blue Moon, I just think it's lame compared to the vast other selection in the same category. Yeah, Bud Light does offend my taste. Nothing against you and your crew and how you do things...it stems from this guy I know. All he drinks is Bud Light. Everytime I go to his house I bring him a different bottle of a random microbrew with the only intention of letting him experience something different. About the 9th time I did this, I got there and he had wayyy too many Bud Lights in him and he tells me that he thinks it's cool that I bring him beer like I do, but he thinks they're all disgusting. That's like saying "I love when you pick me up in your Masserati, but I think that car is a POS." Guess who doesn't bring beer to his house anymore.

If I lived in Cali, Lagunitas would be my go to beer. California actually has a pile of good beers. If I can get a case of lagunitas lil sumpin ale for $27.99 here in Pennsylvania, I wonder what it costs on the west coast?

no! hear me out! I have proof!

(I have one of these sitting at home)
The guy from the beer distributor here says sucks is amazing and i think he said seasonal so get some while you can. I haven't found any yet in eureka cal and i want to try it badly. A six pack at a cheaper store of regular Lagunitas is over $8 herein northern californicate. Liked everything I've tried so far from them. I like strong beers.

Here in PA Lagunitas is the best value in a good micro brew. At under $30 a case you can't go wrong. I got totally **** bag wasted one night across the street at my neighbors party. I bought a case of WTF (Wilco Tango Foxtrot) bombers. I drank like 4 of them and fell on my face while pissing in the bushes. It was a great night. Even better when I woke up in my bed and had no recollection of crossing the street.
I think the rum I drank that made Bacardi 151 seem like peach schnapps didnt help either.

She loves hoppy IPAs but also she resents that people treat ME as the beer guy now. Our neighbor is always giving me funky and rare beers when I drop by. That's where I got the Lagunitas Sucks and Bells above.
I'll be a steward at the Best Florida Beer Championships competition for the professional brewers on Saturday. It is open to all of the microbreweries, brew pubs, and big breweries in the state. It is always a big competition with hundreds of brews but there are 75 more beers entered this year than last year!
Here's just the list of the medal winners in each category from last year.
