Opening day brand new Nationals Park
Just got home from opening day. Nationals over Braves 3-2. Zimmerman with a walk off home run after Paul Lo Duca sucked all night long.
Gorgeous new ballpark.
Anyone catch the game on ESPN HD?

I forgot the game was on last night. But with the Marlins playing the Nats a ton this year I'll get a chance to check out the ball park. I just hope the fans continue to show up after ther newness of the ball park wears off. Also you hope that management/ownership will make the team competitive. Unfortunately that isn't the case in Pittsburgh where a new stadium was built but the team still sucks.

EVERYONE booed at the opening pitch. except two random guys in my section who tried to pick a fight with the whole stadium.
I hope the fans DONT continue to show up. that stadium was so packed it was hard to move. just walking around the main level was like trying to get within the first 15 rows at a U2 concert. you marlins fans must envy our awesome turnout last year
The coolest thing about the new stadium for me--I have a DC permit for our "neighborhood" and the new stadium is still in that zone so I basically get free parking within a block or two.
