It seems real, but why did they have a camera pointed at that exact spot? Either way, it's crazy how the van flipped

Right away when I saw it I though it had to be done for a movie, the van and the ball are obviously at calculated speeds and timing to hit each other.

Plus, where else would the ball be swinging at in the middle of the street, and why is the street that clear in a busy city.

Still cool though

That ball wouldn't have bounced and flipped the van- it would have kept going like there was nothing there. The van weighs nothing compared to a real wrecking ball that size.

There are people walking up the sidewalk right in the path of the "ball". Usually wrecking ball crews don't put anything up to keep people out of a real demolition area.

Another obvious fake. A wrecking ball would NOT bounce, and the van barely looked like it had a dent in it. You can also look at how the van flips. The ball hit about dead center, maybe slightly to the top, and for some reason the van begins to flip, then bounces about 2ft off the ground. Physics don't add up in this one. Not quite as bad as the slide into the pool one though. Also, to be more Mr ---- Retentive, I see no signs of a cable (if there is a cable, it's too small to be seen, which means low weight) which would be thick enough to see from that distance, and I have been on a few demolitions of large enough scale to use wrecking *****, and that doesn't really look like a legit setup. Why would they have the crane set up that far away from the building across the street. By the time the ball got there it would be out of steam. Or for that matter, what in the hell were they knocking down anyway, I see nothing that looks like it would require a wrecking ball in the middle of a crowded urban area, or nothing closed off for demo. They don't just let people stand around while they pound on a building with people in connected buildings.

I like the obvious fake of the 2 guys with the cable spool on some stairs, maybe you've seen it. I get so pissed every time that people actually can look at that and think for a second it's real. Either a lot of people lack common sense or don't pay close enough attention to the details.

OK, I'm done being picky.
