you are fined five credits for repeated violations of the verbal morality statute.
I have more pride for the people that have helped in trying to get Iraq and Afghanistan into a state of sustainability. I have respect for the hundreds of thousands that have served for our country and those who have lost their lives protecting us and helping others. What I don't have is pride or respect when people show brutal hatred and blind following.

But ya, we couldn't do anything to give em' a reason to partake in any more hostile haji hijacks. I think giving the guy a burial at sea might have been a good thing for this reason, if we would have waited more then 24 hrs to put him him in the
So, Ricks Lambo went in the lake so other Lambo's wouldn't get sticky accelerator peddles.
We are supposed to be the good guys, as good guys we behave in a professional and restrained manner and use tact at all times, even when dealing with our worst enemies. That is what makes our military great, the high standard we (hopefully) hold ourselves to.
So while I'm a bit perturbed at the lack of published proof and the convenient burial, I take great pride in the fact that we disposed of him according to his own custom. If we are going to carry out acts of heinous violence, we ought to strive to do it in such a manner that we inspire others to trust us to be the ones to carry out said acts.
If someone HAS to do something terrible, I want the person that does it to be the calmest, most level-headed, capable individual around. We smile, we bow our heads, and we move on. We don't galavant and parade dead bodies around, that what THOSE ******* do.

On further reflection, it's actually kind of nice that the US has finally gotten back into the assassination business. And I'm not saying that to be wry- it suggests that as a nation we may be starting to re-grow something resembling a backbone. Remember the whole "Nuke the Moon" diatribe? To me, this represents an important step down the path to not being viewed as a bunch of pussies on the global stage.
On the minus side, the 10th anniversary of the WTC / Pentagon attacks is a little over four months away. Soon enough for certain folks to still be angry, long enough to do a bit of planning and preparation. I believe I shall be liquidating my long positions in the market prior to that date.

On the military side of things, at least here, it's more of just a "Good job, high five, back to work" type thing. Although I can imagine it might be a bit more of a morale booster for military deployed to Afghanistan right now.

Hey that's pretty cleverl using the one letter difference in names to confuse your president with the former leader of Al Qaeda! Wait til you hear what your president's middle name is. You'll **** bricks.
I give Obama props. He finally did something he compaigned on. He said in an interview with O'Reilly that if he knew the whereabouts of Bin Laden, he would do whatever it takes to snuff him out.
Pakistan is pissed at us right now because we didn't tell them about the mission, which is good, so that the army base Bin Laden was housed near couldn't continue to provide protect for him.
Pakistans goals =/= our goals.
