^^ Very true, all though I am guilty of spending way too much money on my girl--at least I know I need to stop. I think if she is a keeper you could make her a card, buy some flowers, clean the house and make dinner and she will think it's the most thoughtful thing ever, if not then you have a money hungry, materialist women who needs to be on the curb. Just wondering does she make her own money?

Any gift that I've ever gotten someone has met one of two criteria:
1. I absolutely wanted to give the gift 2. The gift was less than $10 Hawaii? For a fucking birthday present? Thats some 25th Anniversary shit right there, wedding honeymoon even? The more you spoil her, the more she's going to expect to be spoiled. And this: Birthday vacations like this are for wives, not girlfriends. Holy shit, I hope you're rolling in money trees. Your wedding is going to cost YOU $200,000 easily b/c she's spoiled and you're a pushover. We've dated for 12 years, so we're pretty much married as it is. I don't think the $10 present still works after the 2nd year of dating. |

OP >>
Go for any bag from here http://www.mulberry.com/#/storefront/c5721/ and dinner. I still get credits for the "bayswater chocolate natural leather" bag 3 years down the road. If not bag, shoes from christian louboutin usually gets extremely appreciated. But, with the low dollar, british and french luxury products will cost you. |
Make babies with her. /thread

Let me see...this is what we've got here:
1. She's completing the 3rd decade of her life, and pretty well considering herself off the "hot" side of the market. 2. You've been going out for basically her whole adult life. 3. Graduation and the beginning of career life around the corner. 4. She likes outrageously expensive and pointless accessories that she can show off/compare to friends. GET THAT GIRL A RING! |

I presented the snowboarding idea. Didn't like it. Looks like we're going to Hawaii. On the flipside my wife is very generous and buys me the most amazing gifts which are usually not cheap. She does not bitch about me buying computers and car parts, which balances out with her bag addiction. We all have our addictions... I spend stupid money on car shit.. |
1/2- 3/4 carat $200 Moissanite necklace. Looks better than a $2,000 diamond:
http://www.joyjewelers.com/modules/c....php?catid=185 Moissanite really is a superiour gemstone to diamond. Better optical characterstics. Side by side, the diamond looks fake. Diamond is only expensive because of the De Beers cartel and marketing. Do not tell her it's not diamond. She will never know. I've given this advice to several friends, and they reported back that it has worked. She will swallow every night for a month. |
