Just finished watching Barbara Streisand sing Evergreen on my "new" Pioneer Elite CDL-52 laserdisc player. Paid $80 for it and $11 for a disc, Paramount Comedy Theater Vol. 2, so my wife and I could watch a 3 minute stand up comedy routine that we saw in 1987 and have been talking about ever since. The Streisand disc came with the unit (which the PO told me cost him over $1000) but I do have another disc, Duran Duran - Sing Blue Silver concert documentary disc that I have had sitting around in my collection for close to 30 years but have been unable to play until now. Yes, I have patience like you would not believe....


Oh, SNAP! I guess I could have just watch the Duran Duran here:



The comedy routine is impossible to find for download (been looking for years).

Oh, I also purchased this for $50 (without the gay book but with a second copy of the "single" episode IV not from the set):

 

You need to destroy that laserdisc player immediately.
Why?
Look at the date on the Duran Duran sing blue silver concert documentary.
That's right 1984.
If you are totally oblivious, that's the year the first terminator was sent back to kill Sara Connor, therefore, it must be destroyed.
How do you destroy it?
I has to be taken to a metal foundry and thrown into a vat of liquid steel, like this:
