Really people, the cellphone pics are driving me up a wall. Are y'all that cheap that you can't afford a camera? Maybe you shouldn't be modding your car if you don't have the money to buy even a low end digital camera.

Hey, i have whitebalance, not very good, but its there. (nokia n95)
But you are right, it cant compete with the trusty old nikon (film) or for that matter the cybershot.

surprisingly, my 2MP camera phone takes pretty damn good pictures. it even has white balance. go sony ^^

I wouldn't say you shouldn't be modding a car if you don't have the money for a camera. I mean, I did a 302 swap in a t-bird without a digital camera. Some people would rather spend that money toward moding the car, or on other things. I have a 100 dollar Kodak digital camera and it works, nothing fancy, but it's nice to have. If I didn't have it and I had a camera phone I would use it, it's better than nothing. However, I wouldn't pay 100+ for a phone just so it would take a picture either. My phone cost 30 bucks new and it came with a charger. I see your point if your trying to show off your new paint job with pics of from your camera. I mean, like neo's camera vid of his motor sucked, but hey, it's better than nothing.

It's not super, but the n95 does ok in the snow. auto whitebalance (lazy).

yeah modern camera phones rival or beat cheap digital cameras. Besides camera phone shots are usually help me quick now while my digital camera batteries are dead type situations

 

Damn, some real nice for cell phones pics here. Where are all these nice cell phones hiding when people are taking fuzzy, blurry, over/underexposed and generally crappy pictures of their cars?
