Went to Airgas the other day to pick up some grinding wheels and i asked for some prices on a TIG welder and just so happens he had a guy drop off a used one a few weeks before and he wants $600 for it.

I dont know too much about welding equipment so take a look and tell me if its a steal. Guy was a hobby welder and its been sitting in his garage. Its about 4 years old.

alright ill take it a little more seriously then. I could use it on all the fabrication stuff im doing on my build but im gonna have to learn fast. my intake manifold is currently in progress. Ive got that Miller 211 autoset with the spool gun for aluminum currently but it just makes a mess of things.

 

What model? TIG welders can make some really nice results, but it does take more work to make it nice than MIG. Sounds like a good deal so far though.
