it's because they know if they get hurt, it's not an out of pocket expense.

Okay, like 2/3rds of the American Hockey team players are Canadians and play professionally.. Right, like we're going to win against that.

Canada sucks anyway.

seriously, why do people like hockey all of a sudden? EVeryone I know is suddenly a Captials fans because a local team is finally doing good. I just learned there are only 3 periods.

you obviously didn`t watch the game. It was extremely close and came to a sudden death goal in overtime.

lol..

It happens every year man.. and Vancouver is known to be one of the WORST when it comes to hopping on the bandwagon. I know all about it.

Started playing at age 5. And never played again after college.

That was an intense game. Very good hockey.

Uhm, actually yes I did watch the game and yes it was pretty damn close. So if your canucks are SOOOO much better, how did we even score a goal (muchless TWO!) and take it >5 minutes into sudden deathmatch?? HMMMMMM???

No, you've misunderstood. Most of the American NHL players that I know of are Canadians....

Not like I care, I'm just here to fuel your RAGE fire..

Ahh.. ok... lol Where did I say the nucks were better. I just said Vancouver fans are the worst for hopping on, and then off the bandwagon.

Anyways, whatever. I just thought I would try to stir some ****

Canada now holds the record for most gold medals by a host country as well as most gold medals by any one country in the winter olympics. And as much as you Americans always say `Canada sucks`... I know it dosen`t and wouldn`t live anywhere else (especially here in Vancouver) and that`s all that matters to me.

If I pointed out that healthcare isn't free, would I be stirring the pot too?

It goes the other way around too. The ski season here has been TERRIBLE... on the one year we host the Olympics.

But... I`ve been out riding (my motorcycle) earlier this year than any other in the past 5. It`s been over 10* (Celsius) regularly for the past few weeks. Normally it`s snowing on the mountains.

And I think someone already poked fun at the healthcare system up top. It`s not all free. I had to fork out a whopping $120 for a cavity filling last week.

Thats about what I paid to have my gallbladder removed in 2005... Did I mention the insurance wasn't provided by my employer, I paid out of pocket for it..
